Terms of Service

The terms that apply when you use Ayura's website, mobile applications, and wellness services.

Last updated: March 24, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of Ayura's website, mobile applications, and related services. Ayura is a consumer wellness and lifestyle platform. By using Ayura, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Eligibility

You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction to use Ayura. If you use Ayura on behalf of another person or organization, you represent that you have authority to do so.

2. Wellness-only service

Ayura provides educational wellness content, AI-assisted suggestions, routines, and reflection tools. Ayura is not a hospital, clinic, doctor, insurer, pharmacy, emergency service, or licensed medical provider.

3. No diagnosis or treatment

Ayura does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease. Do not rely on Ayura for emergency care or as a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns, treatment decisions, or supplement use.

4. Accounts and account security

  • You must provide accurate and current information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for activity under your account.
  • You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access or misuse.

5. User content and feature inputs

You may submit content such as profile details, quiz answers, wellness notes, meal photos, and face scans. You retain ownership of your content, but you grant Ayura a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, store, reproduce, and analyze that content as needed to operate the service, provide requested features, secure the platform, comply with law, and improve reliability.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to submit the content you upload and that it does not violate the law or the rights of others.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse Ayura. For example, you must not:

  • Use Ayura for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or deceptive activity.
  • Upload harmful, infringing, defamatory, or unsafe content.
  • Attempt to interfere with security, integrity, performance, or availability of the service.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, copy, or exploit protected parts of the service except where law permits.
  • Use the service to build a competing dataset, model, or product in violation of law or these terms.

7. AI-generated outputs

Ayura may use AI or machine-learning systems to generate wellness insights, food analysis, or reflection outputs. These outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your particular circumstances. You are responsible for using judgment before acting on any output from the service.

8. Intellectual property

Ayura and its licensors own the service, including software, design, trademarks, text, graphics, and other content, except for user-submitted content. Except as permitted by applicable law, you may not copy, distribute, modify, republish, or create derivative works from protected service materials without authorization.

9. Subscriptions, pricing, and billing

Some Ayura features may require a paid plan, subscription, or in-app purchase. Pricing, billing cycles, trial terms, and feature availability may change. Unless required otherwise by applicable law or platform rules, fees are non-refundable after they are charged.

App-store purchases are also subject to the terms and billing rules of the platform through which you subscribed, such as Apple App Store or Google Play.

10. Third-party services

Ayura may rely on third-party providers for hosting, analytics, authentication, communications, payments, or feature delivery. Those third parties operate under their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for independent third-party services outside our control.

11. Availability and product changes

We may add, modify, suspend, or remove features, content, plans, or pricing at any time. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that every feature will continue to be offered in every country or device environment.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if we believe you violated these terms, created legal or security risk, misused the service, or if we are required to do so by law. You may stop using Ayura at any time.

13. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ayura is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee specific wellness outcomes, uninterrupted service, or that the service will be error-free, secure, or suitable for every user or use case.

14. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Ayura and its affiliates, officers, employees, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from or related to your use of the service.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including consumer protections that apply in your jurisdiction.

15. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold Ayura harmless from claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from your unlawful use of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms.

16. Regional consumer protections

India

Ayura is launched from India and applies compliance-minded practices intended for a global consumer audience. Nothing in these terms is intended to limit non-waivable rights available under applicable Indian law.

Europe / EEA / UK

If you are located in Europe, the EEA, or the UK, mandatory consumer rights and remedies available under applicable law remain in effect even if these terms say otherwise.

USA and other regions

If you live in a jurisdiction that gives you mandatory consumer, privacy, refund, or warranty rights, those rights continue to apply to the extent required by law.

17. Governing law

Unless mandatory consumer law in your jurisdiction requires otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

18. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of Ayura after the updated terms become effective means you accept the revised terms.
